When do I use a Mueller Hg80 Hinged Knee brace?
The Mueller Hg80 Hinged Knee Brace is ideal to provide support for all knee ligament (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL), cartilage (Meniscus) injuries as well as arthritic problems. The Hg80 is an ideal knee brace for skiing.
What are the Features of the Hg80 Hinged Knee Brace?
The Mueller Hg80 knee support has two removable hinges. It features Kevlar fabric which provides great heat management and durability. Antimicrobial barrier gives protection from bacteria, fungus and other micro organisms. The Mueller Hg80 Knee Brace also has inner anti-slip, grip strips which helps keep it in one place. The shape of the brace gives fantastic support.
The Upper strapping system locks the knee brace into position, while the outer mesh shell fastens on the side then locks comfortably across the quadriceps. The Mueller Hg80 can be washed in water and comes complete with a free laundry bag to avoid damage while washing or when in your sports bag.
The anti-slip inner grip strips help prevent from brace migration while the hourglass design ensures superior support. The Upper strapping system locks the brace into position and the outer mesh shell fastens on the side then locks comfortably across the quadriceps. The Patented Triaxial hinge provides maximum protection with near normal knee motion. While the Tibial Containment system features a secondary shell with a stabilising patella buttress and rear support strap which helps relieve some symptoms of chrondomalacia, patella subluxation and patella tendonitis.
The Kevlar Hydracinn fabric is a moisture-wicking catalyst which provides superior support with heat management (Ideal for skiing and active sports people). Its permanently bonded antimicrobial barrier gives protection from bacteria, fungus and other micro organisms.
The two hinges can also be removed when washing and the Hg80 Hinged Knee Brace can also be used without the hinges in place for a low level knee support. This is often a positive step in rehabilitation as your mind gets used to the support from the hinged knee brace and when removing the hinges, but keeping the same knee brace, you will naturally strength the knee joint and hopefully wean off the requirements for the high level of hinge support.
