What is the Push Sports Patella Brace?

The Push Sports Patella Brace provides targeted pressure below the kneecap, therefore relieves the pressure on the thigh muscle, and reduces force and pain in the lower leg by absorbing some of the shock placed on knees during running and exercise. When you land heavily on your feet, vibrations and shock run through the leg, and often get absorbed by the cartilage and tendons in the knee. With the Push Patella Support, the gel buttress provides compression to the tendons and knee, absorbing those vibrations, relieving your knee during exercise.

If you would like to find out the difference between tendon injuries and ligament injuries, please read our guide here - A Guide to Tendons and Ligaments

The Push Patella brace offers an attractive, comfortable amount of support, through its very soft, skin-compatible, figure 8 shaped gel buttress. The gel of this buttress ensures that there is an even distribution of pressure onto the tendons, and the shape of which provides a high amount of surface area that comes into contact with the tendons. The long strap allows for a great amount of customisation, allowing the wearer to loosen or tighten the product as required.

The use of sympress, a high quality material, also helps the Push Med Patella Brace to be a comfortable strap to wear when walking or partaking in sport or exercise.

When can I use the Push Sports Patella Brace?

The Push Sports Patella Brace works by applying local pressure to the patella tendon below the kneecap and for the treatment and prevention of conditions such as Patello femoral pain syndrome, Tendonitis, Jumper's knee and Osgood-Schlatter disease (runners knee).

The Push Patella Support will also aid against patella tracking issues, (unstable kneecap). When the brace is worn correctly, and tightened, it does not give the kneecap any space to move around below, this will help, as often when the patella is unstable, it drops down the knee slightly.

What size Push Sports Patella Brace do I need?

This item is available in one size. One size fits most. Suitable for left or right knee. The strap is approximately 17” long, so if you measure just below your knee cap, and it is under 17" it should fit perfectly.

So comfortable - had others in the past for alleviating my general knee pain on running. This one has a much nice feel and seems to be just as robust. Well worth the extra spend
