Tigers Day Out Competition Rules

Winner(s) = Individual selected as the winning nominator and/or the team or group nominated by the winner.

  1. Closing Date: The closing date is 5 September 2016 at 9:00 a.m. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. The Promoter shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, internet access or otherwise preventing entry to any competition.
  2. Competition is open to UK residents excluding employees of the Promoter (including Parties involved), relatives of employees of the Promoter or of its respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, its agents or any other person connected to the competition.
  3. The prize is valid for 20 children (under 14 years) and 5 adults (over 18 years) only. Additional match tickets can be purchased subject to availablility. Please contact for more information.
  4. Age Restrictions: 20 of the 25 participants must be under the age of 14 while 5 participants must be over the age of 18.
  5. Only one entry will be acknowledged per person except where bonus entries are automatically awarded for sharing or promoting the competition. These bonus entries are awarded at the discretion of the promoter.
  6. Entrants must nominate an active sports team to enter the competition. No individual can win the competition.
  7. Competition can only be won by an active sports club registered with an amateur league or a school team.
  8. Entrants must provide the details requested by the Promoter, which may include entrant’s name, date of birth, age, address (including postcode), telephone number and/or email address.
  9. Entrants details may be used for direct marketing by the Promoter and connected companies.
  10. The judge's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  11. Prizes can only be sent to a UK address.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner and award the prize to another entrant In the event that:
    • The Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that an entrant has contravened any term or condition of entry;
    • A winner has changed address to one outside of the UK after the closing date;
    • The Promoter is unable to contact the winner using supplied contact details within 24 hours of the closing date/time;
    • The winner does not contact the promoter with address details within 24 hours of being notified.
  13. Winners will generally be notified either by email, telephone or via Facebook within 24 hours of the draw.
  14. Prizes are as stated and are non-transferable. No cash alternatives will be offered. If due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize(s), the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize(s). Prizes are subject to the additional terms and conditions of the manufacturer or supplier.
  15. Transport to the venue will NOT be arranged by the Promoter, and all transport costs are to be covered by the winners.
  16. For the avoidance of doubt, the winner (and/or any guests and/or parents/guardians) shall be solely liable for any additional costs incurred as a result.
  17. Supervising adults are responsible for safeguarding the children in the group during all activities including transport during the day.
  18. The Promoter shall not be liable to the winner and/or any guests for any loss or damage howsoever caused (whether in contract, tort or statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the competition and/or prize other than death or personal injury caused by negligence of the Promoter and/or the Promoters personnel and/or deceit or fraud by Promoter and/or Promoter’s personnel.
  19. By entering the competition, entrants acknowledge that they may be required to be used in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include without limitation the entrant’s name and/or likeness, voice, photographs and/or video footage of the entrant, biographical information provided by the entrants/winner and/or any statement made by them concerning the competition and/or the prize. Entrants agree that such elements may be used by the Promoter in any and all media in perpetuity throughout the world as the Promoter in its sole discretion sees fit.
  20. Any personal information collected by the Promoter in connection with a competition will be used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed HERE or can be obtained by writing to the Promoter either by email at or by post to the Promoter’s address marked for the attention of The Data Protection Officer. If entrants don’t want the Promoter to use their information in this way, entrants can tell the Promoter when entering the competition or at any time by writing to the Promoter as set out above.
  21. A list of winners for each competition can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope together with details of which competition winners list you require to the Promoter within 30 days from the date of the closing date of such competition.
  22. Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms And Conditions. Entrants may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of all terms and conditions before receiving their prize.
  23. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
