This gluteal unloading taping technique is used for tight or a light strain towards the gluteal muscles and for lower back pain, you will need one kind of tape to follow these four steps.
Firstly, tape from the bottom, to the top of the mid line of the glutes.
The second goes from the top of the first and comes out towards the side of the body.
Apply a third strip from the bottom of the first to the end of the second, forming a triangle, a slight stretch should be applied to the tape.
A ‘V’ shape can be applied to the hamstring and calf applying a stretch from the bottom to the top of each piece of tape.
